Join our law firm as a key attorney in the Conflicts and Risk Management team. This role combines legal reasoning with ethical and strategic considerations in a collaborative setting.
Within the General Counsel’s Office, you will work on critical aspects of risk management and ethical compliance. This position requires independent judgment as you analyze various legal matters and interface with partners and leadership. You will have strong support for developing expertise in conflict resolution and proactive problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities: • Review new clients for potential conflicts • Analyze ethical and risk considerations • Draft conflict-related provisions • Assist with onboarding for lateral hires • Improve internal risk management systems
Requirements: • Good standing with a Canadian law society is mandatory • Experience in conflict clearance is beneficial • Excellent problem-solving abilities • Bilingual in French and English preferred • Comfort...
