Organizational Context and Scope
Under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission in Brazil and the direct supervision of the Head of Programmes, the National Officer will oversee and coordinate the Counter Trafficking (CT), Integrated Border Governance (IBG) and Resettlement and Movement Management (RMM) portfolios in IOM Brazil at the national level. The Officer, based in Brasília, will implement activities in line with IOM’s initiatives to combat trafficking in persons, smuggling of migrants, immigration and border management, family reunification and resettlement, and complementary pathways.
