Hotel Grand Pacific is seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our Kitchen management team. An independent luxury property, we are home to the highly acclaimed Fathom Restaurant and have 10,000 square feet of function space.
We’re looking for a Red Seal-certified chef with integrity, a positive attitude, proven creativity, and excellent leadership qualities.
Duties
- Supervise and participate in the day-to-day operation of all Kitchen areas to ensure the highest quality and presentation of products
- Assist with menu development and food presentation specs
- Coach and motivate the Kitchen team to success
- Work with the Executive Chef to prepare the budget
- Assist in conducting monthly staff meetings
- Assist with staff scheduling and submission of payroll time sheets when required
