Other trades certificate or diploma, or equivalent experience. Cook Trade Certification, Food Safety Certificate, Criminal record check.

Responsibilities
- Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff (5‑10 people).
- Prepare and cook food on a regular basis or for special guests or functions.
- Prepare meals or specialty foods.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies.
- Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs.
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Own transportation.
- Familiar with fast‑paced environments, work under pressure, tight deadlines.
- Physically able to stand for extended periods and perform demanding tasks.
