Position: Sous Chef
Responsibilities
- Lead a team through food preparation while coordinating the work of Cooks and Dishwashers
- Supervise training and cross‑training of kitchen personnel
- Research, recommend and implement new policies and procedures related to food preparation
- Assist the Executive Chef and Head Chef with performance management/reviews and seasonal staffing levels
- Meet or exceed forecasted/budgeted COGS/LTR and operational budgets (expenses)
- Supervise, expedite and participate in food preparation, in accordance with standards of quality, quantity, taste and presentation
- Quality check food for taste, temperature and visual appeal
