Job Description
Support the Cape Breton-Victoria Regional Centre for Education as a Mi'kmaq Language and Social Studies Teacher for Grades 6, 7, and 8 located in Sherwood Park. Engage students in their cultural heritage while fostering academic growth.
This permanent role focuses on delivering comprehensive instruction in Mi'kmaq language alongside Social Studies curriculum. The Centre is committed to equity and diversity, actively encouraging applications from Indigenous Peoples, African Canadians, and other underrepresented groups. Successful applicants will implement culturally responsive teaching strategies for all students.
