Short-Term Consultant - (MRVA Specialist)

Description of the Project

The World Bank, through the Partnership for Market Implementation (PMI), is supporting the Government of Brazil in implementing the national Emissions Trading System (SBCE) by providing technical assistance to develop a credible and robust MRVA framework.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Support preparation for, facilitation, and consolidation of outcomes of sector-level technical workshops on MRV methodologies applicable to priority sectors (steel, mining, oil & gas, power, and civil aviation). This includes preparing workshop concept notes, agendas, sector-specific briefing papers and post-workshop summary reports, and participation in workshops by assisting with technical facilitation and note-taking.
