Shipper/Receiver Assistant - Laborer
Job Description

Follow work instructions and safely perform duties assigned by the Shipping/Receiving supervisor
Communicate and track job and shipment deadlines with direction from the Shipping/Receiving supervisor
Execute primary functions within the shipping and receiving department such as: Confirm assembly lists, packings lists, BOM’s, or other documentation prior to parts, equipment or components leaving our premises Follow and document proper receiving of components Utilize tools and equipment to safely and properly package components to prepare for shipping
Operate equipment to assist in loading and unloading of trucks
Follow customer specific packaging and labeling requirement (bundling/assembling)
Sign off and complete final shipping documentation as delegated by the supervisor
Perform auxiliary supervisory activities in the absence of the Shipping/Receiving supervisor.
