Senior Underwriter, Commercial Lines (Mid-Market - Property and Casualty)

About the role

We're looking for a Senior Underwriter for Mid‑Market in the Property and Casualty Commercial Lines business to join the team in our Vancouver, BC office. This permanent, full‑time position requires a minimum of 2 days per week working in the office.

Compensation

Salary range: $87,200 – $106,600 (annual). Base salary plus an annual bonus target of 10% (potential payout up to double the target) and participation in an Employee Share Purchase Plan.

Responsibilities

• Develop long‑term relationships with brokers by providing service and participating in broker visits, field underwriting, and industry functions.
• Assess and evaluate moderate to complex risks, analyse requests for quotes, renewals, and policy changes, and recommend innovative solutions.
