Senior Internal Auditor

THE ROLE

Our client is a fantastic publicly traded company that has businesses across Canada and the US. Due to the continued growth of the company, a strong internal audit function is considered an integral part of the company's long-term plans. Internal audit will independently plan, execute and oversee value‑added audits and special projects requested by the company's senior management and provide advisory service to the company and its businesses.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• The key responsibility of this role is to assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls for the company and its businesses and ensure that the company is meeting its corporate governance requirements. This role is an integral part of the company's long-term plans!
