Senior Geotechnical Engineer

The Opportunity

Senior Geotechnical Engineer – Vancouver, BC.

Salary range: $130K to $190K per annum.

Your Role

• Develop sound technical solutions to lead the design and evaluation of challenging geotechnical applications, particularly foundations in seismically sensitive environments, deep foundations, shallow foundations, soft/compressible soils, steep slopes, and other issues across BC and Western Canada.
• Lead seismic deformation assessments, including evaluation of settlements, lateral deformations, and their effects on foundations.
• Prepare technical letters and reports and help our clients understand options, risks, benefits, and opportunities.
• Participate in the development of proposals and pursuits for projects ranging from small to very large.
• Supervise and mentor junior and intermediate staff members and co‑op students.
