Senior Financial Analyst
Job Description
CONTRACT: 6 months, with chance for extension
SETUP: Hybrid - 2 days/week in office, downtown Toronto.
START DATE: ASAP
Responsibilities
- Support month-end and year-end close, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Prepare variance analysis and financial reports to support business partners, senior leadership, and Board reporting.
- Ensure accurate accounting treatment and compliance with PSAS reporting Standards, and audit requirements.
- Assist with internal controls, process improvements, and data integrity initiatives in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Complete statutory filings (HST, charity returns), maintain chart of accounts, and support ad hoc finance projects.
