Senior Environmental Coordinator

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a member of the dynamic North Coast Transmission Project team in this project delivery-oriented role you will provide environmental support, as environmental work package manager (EWPM), on complex BC Hydro capital projects. This role will focus on the upgrades to the existing transmission lines between Prince George and Terrace, as well as the Capacitor Stations.

The scope includes navigating federal and provincial environmental regulatory processes, and preparing or managing the preparation of information related to potential environmental and socio‑economic effects of projects. EWPMs are responsible for the scope, schedule, budget and cost of their work package. The EWPM is expected to have expertise, and a working knowledge of all disciplines within the scope of the work package, and should consult with subject matter experts within the Environment department as required, while acting as the single environmental point of contact fo...
