Job Description Applies Engineering concepts and theories to deliver development designs, calculations, and technical solutions across a range of applications for Babcock products and services across the Engineering Product Lifecycle. The engineer is directly accountable for designs, calculations, and technical solutions, working under initiative to produce high‑quality outputs and capable of managing others and the delivery of engineering and technical activities. The role also involves mentoring others and applying a wider range of knowledge to complex situations.
This role is less focused on design, but more emphasized on understanding designs and maintaining the systems and platforms Babcock uses. It involves maintaining combat electrical systems such as radar, sonar, and communications, while also maintaining other platform electrical systems.
