Transform animation projects at ILM Vancouver as a Senior Effects Artist! This hybrid role promotes your skills in 2D hand-drawn effects and complex 3D simulations with Houdini.
You will independently create FX elements that align with project aesthetics while performing lighting, rendering, and compositing tasks on complex shots. Your role includes mentoring junior peers and providing innovative solutions for stylized FX setups, solidifying your impact on overall production quality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design hand-drawn 2D FX for animation integration
• Execute paint overs for conceptual and final effects
• Develop particle and fluid system simulations
