Senior Corporate Accountant

Western Forest Products is looking for a Senior Corporate Accountant to join our finance team based at our Head Office in Vancouver, BC .

What You’ll Do

As Senior Corporate Accountant, you are an integral member of the finance team responsible for the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including preparing and reviewing account reconciliations (such as PP&E and leases) and assisting with financial reporting and disclosures. You will also play a supporting role in treasury operations, including payment processing and banking reporting. You will contribute to tax and compliance activities by assisting with indirect tax filings and supporting Canadian and U.S. tax processes, particularly during quarter‑end and year‑end periods. In addition, you will support forecasting and departmental reporting and work cross‑functionally on ad‑hoc analyses and finance initiatives.
