Job Overview

We are hiring a Senior Civil Engineer to support our Resources subsector within WSP’s Energy, Resources & Industry group. The role focuses on industrial civil engineering projects from conceptual design to construction, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Preferred locations: Thunder Bay or Sudbury, Ontario.

Responsibilities

• Design site plans including grading, earthworks, water distribution, site services, access roads, stormwater, and wastewater systems.
• Develop, verify, and finalize technical deliverables (drawings, specifications, reports, engineering calculations).
• Review and verify the technical quality, accuracy, and compliance of project deliverables.
• Conduct site reviews and provide construction‑phase technical support.
• Prepare permit applications and supporting documentation.
• Contribute to proposal development, including fee estimates and technical inputs.
