Deputise for the Operational Laboratory Manager and the Governance & Health and Safety Manager within Neuropathology. The role will rotate across laboratory services including CNS histopathology, muscle and nerve tissues and support wider Cellular Pathology in line with service needs.
Main duties
- Deputise for the Operational Laboratory Manager, ensuring continuity of service and supporting department management.
- Manage day‑to‑day operation of a laboratory section: documentation, quality assurance, audit, improvement activity and incident management; ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
