Senior Acquia Cloud Platform Engineer
Job Description
The Acquia Cloud Platform Engineer is the SME for all Acquia Cloud infrastructure supporting the DXP. This role ensures optimal hosting, security, deployment, caching, and performance operating conditions across all sprints.
Responsibilities
- Stand up Acquia Cloud environments, pipelines, and governance (users/roles/keys); implement SSL/TLS, WAF, IP allow/deny as needed.
- Tune PHP/Drupal runtime, databases, and Varnish; configure file systems and media delivery with CDN best practices
- Establish prod readiness: capacity planning, stress/load testing support, and cost/performance optimization.
- Author platform runbooks (scaling, failover, disaster recovery) and support blue/green cutovers.
Must‑Have Qualifications
- 6–8+ yrs hosting large Drupal estates on Acquia Cloud ; deep knowledge of Acquia toolchain (Cloud Platform, BLT, Pipelines), Varnish, and CDN integration.
