Senior Accounting Technician

The Role

Our client is seeking a Senior Accounting Technician to join a dynamic team on Montreal’s South Shore. Reporting to the Controller, you will play a key role in managing the company’s accounting operations and preparing financial reports. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of files and actively contribute to the financial health of the organization.

Responsibilities

Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable, including payment follow-ups, collections and accounting entries

• Perform bank reconciliations and participate in monthly and year-end financial closings
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
• Assist with the preparation of tax filings such as GST/QST returns, corporate taxes and other tax obligations
