Senior Accountant (Contract)
Location: Vancouver – In-office
Duration: 3-month contract (potential to extend)
Compensation: $45–$50/hour
My client, a growing SaaS company based in Vancouver, is seeking a hands‑on Senior Accountant to step in immediately and support the finance team during a key transition period.
This role will act as a right hand to the Controller , taking ownership of core accounting functions and helping ensure stability in a fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead month‑end close (journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis)
- Manage billing, accounts receivable, and collections
- Support revenue recognition in a SaaS environment
- Work within NetSuite and help improve processes and workflows
- Support payroll and day‑to‑day accounting operations
- Partner cross‑functionally with internal teams
