Job Description
Lead the financial landscape as a Senior Accountant specializing in Indigenous joint ventures. Oversee budgeting, analyze discrepancies, and manage year-end engagements with diligence.
In this role, supporting the Controller, you'll focus on preparing and analyzing financial statements, conducting equity accounting, and ensuring compliance with ASPE. As a subject matter expert, you will mentor other accountants, enhancing their capabilities in financial tasks and report preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze discrepancies in financial statements
• Support month-end reporting processes
• Perform joint venture accounting and reconciliations
• Ensure accurate balance sheet reporting
• Lead year-end Review Engagements and Audits
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree essential
• CPA designation required
• 3-5 years in accounting or finance
• Proven experience in financial statement analysis
• Strong understanding of ASPE and compliance
