About the Role
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Financial Reporting and Consolidations, you will be responsible for supporting the Consolidation and Financial Reporting team with close processes, financial reporting and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements including preparing monthly reconciliations for financial statement areas.
Key Responsibilities
Help coordinate and execute the quarterly consolidation and close process that drives the financial statements of Terraform Power and Brookfield RenewablePrepare, record journal entries (depreciation/amortization/etc) and complete monthly general ledger close functions for assigned areas, examples include Property, Plant and Equipment (“PPE”), Asset Retirement Obligation (“ARO”), and intangibles (collectively “Fixed Assets”), Long-Term Debt, Financial Instruments, etcPrepare and record journal entries to convert and compare US GAAP and IFRS ledgers.Prepare supporting schedule...
