Description

Overview

Receiving general direction from the Security Supervisor, incumbent ensures a safe and secure environment; provides protective services to people and property; responds to routine and emergency calls for service; and assists with day-to-day operations of the department.

Shift Assignment

The Security Officer must be available to staff 40-hour shift at the following times:

Fridays: 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM

Saturdays: 2:30 PM - 6:30 AM

Sundays: 2:30 PM - 6:30 AM

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performs daily operational functions as directed and upon request by the Security Supervisor or the Dispatcher to ensure that McLean’s operational needs are met efficiently.
