Security Officer, 24 hrs/wk, Su, M, F (Calgary)

Job Summary

Security Officer – Part‑time, 24 hours per week (Sundays, Mondays and Fridays). The incumbent receives general direction from the Security Supervisor, ensures a safe and secure environment, provides protective services to people and property, responds to routine and emergency calls, and assists with day‑to‑day operations of the department.

Shift Assignment

The Security Officer must staff the 24‑hour shift as follows:

• Sundays: 2:30PM – 10:30PM
• Montagues: 6:30AM – 2:30PM
• Fridays: 6:30AM – 2:30PM

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

Performs daily operational functions as directed and upon request by the Security Supervisor or the Dispatcher to ensure that McLean’s operational needs are met efficiently.
