Exciting opportunity as a Seasonal Camp Facilitator at YWCA Regina located in Lumsden! This position is perfect for those passionate about engaging children and ensuring their safety during summer camps.
In this full-time role from July to August, you’ll be responsible for supervising children aged 6 to 12 at Day Camps, promoting a safe and enjoyable environment. Effective communication is crucial to interact with campers and manage daily activities successfully as part of a dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate safe and engaging activities for all campers
• Adhere to safety policies in the Parent Handbook
• Maintain clear communication with children and fellow staff
• Assist in organizing fun camp events and activities
• Perform necessary physical tasks, lifting weights as required
Requirements:
• Completed minimum secondary education
• Experience working with children for 7-11 months
