Scientist, Sequencing Operations - Applications Team (Pathogen)

Your Role

At EIT we are seeking an experienced and detailed orientated Scientist to establish and lead sequencing operations within the Pathogen, Applications Team.

This is a hands‑on, laboratory‑based role with a strong operational focus. You will be responsible for centralising and streamlining sequencing workflows across the team, moving from a decentralised model to a coordinated sequencing function.

You will take ownership of sequencing operations including sample intake, QC, library preparation, sequencing, run management, and workflow coordination. The role will also involve developing and implementing systems for sample submission, tracking, prioritisation, inventory management, and sequencing reporting.
