Scheduling Assistant

Position Overview

Under the general direction of the Manager, Staff Scheduling and while demonstrating a commitment to the Mission, Values and Management Philosophy of St. Boniface Hospital (SBH), the Sheduling Assistant is responsible for assisting clinical units and departments with scheduling and related functions in support of sufficient staffing levels on a 24‑hour basis; and performing other related duties as assigned.

Experience

• Grade 12, or equivalent required.
• One (1) year experience working with ESP or other computerized staffing system performing extensive staffing and scheduling functions for an organization.
• Customer service experience where the primary function was acting as a direct point of contact for customers via telephone and/or in person required.
• Experience working in a fast‑paced, high‑demand environment required.
• Experience with Excel required.
