Satellite Systems Platform Engineer
Job Description
MDA Space is a global leader in satellite components and systems, serving customers worldwide for over six decades. We are looking for a Satellite Systems Platform Engineer to join our Montreal office.
Role Provide RF and electrical system design, performance analysis, implementation, and testing in support of MDA Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) or Telecommunication satellites, covering Telemetry, Command and Ranging, Bus Power & Thermal, and Attitude Control Systems.
Tasks
Expertise on Telecommand and Ranging (TCR), Control and Data Handling (CD&H), Bus Thermal Control (TCS), Attitude and Navigation Control Systems (ADCS), satellite power subsystems, propulsion subsystems, and architecture design.
Support or lead payload or platform design activities.
Collaborate with the platform team and partner suppliers, possibly traveling to MDA partner facilities outside Canada.
Participate in electrical and RF performance evaluation.
