Safety Specialist

Stelco has more than 100 years of experience and continues to grow along with Canada and its global partners. This position seeks a Safety Specialist who will assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive safety and occupational health programs, conducting safety and process reviews, and ensuring compliance and continuous improvement. The role requires a steadfast commitment to prioritizing safety in all work activities and providing monitoring and safety support for day‑to‑day operations, maintenance activities, project work, and contractor/vendor safety performance to ensure safe and efficient execution of all tasks. The primary work location will be the Stelco Lake Erie facility, but the Manager reserves the right to modify the employee’s primary work location as needed to meet business needs.
