Safety & Health Officer - Steel Manufacturing

Purpose: To ensure a safe and healthy working environment by implementing, monitoring, and improving workplace safety and health systems in compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) and related regulations. Responsibility: Safety & Health Compliance: 1. Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 (OSHA 1994), Factories and Machinery Act 1967 (FMA), and related regulations. 2. Maintain and update the companys Safety & Health policies, SOPs, and programs. 3. Conduct risk assessments (HIRARC), safety audit and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) for all work activities. 4. Lead or support Emergency Response Team (ERT) preparations, drills, and documentation. 5. Report and investigate all accidents, incidents, and near misses, including root-cause analysis and corrective actions. Environmental Management 1.
