Job Description
Enhance safety practices at Edmonton Public Library as a hands-on Safety Consultant. Collaborate with managers, translate safety programs, and ensure effective safety practices throughout the organization.
EPL is seeking a skilled Occupational Health and Safety professional for a one-year contract. The Safety Consultant will embed the safety program into daily operations and support managers in their roles. Working closely with teams, you will facilitate safety training, address safety gaps, and offer guidance on investigations and corrective actions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with managers to implement safety practices
• Support and train managers on their safety responsibilities
• Identify and address safety strengths and gaps
• Guide managers in responding to safety issues
• Conduct safety-related investigations under direction
Requirements:
• Degree or Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety
