Purpose of Position: To provide direct nursing care to the residents, patients, and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by the nursing assistants. Such supervision must be in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guideline and regulations that govern our facility, ensuring that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.

Description:

1. Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long-term care facility.

2. Must complete all administrative functions as outlined in the job description.

3. Must be able to perform all tasks as a RN pertaining to the Drug Administration tasks of the job, as outlined in the job description.
