Job Description

Our residential construction division at Tomlinson Infrastructure is looking for a skilled labourer. This candidate will work under the supervision of a foreman setting grades, checking elevations, dumping trucks, working with heavy equipment, and have the opportunity to run small equipment on the jobsite.
Location: Ottawa, ON
Vacancy: New RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPERIENCE:
Ability to read construction drawings, pull information to set proper grades.

Proficient with the operating of a rotating laser level and be able to work with GPS would be an asset

Ability to read plans and mathematically inclined to accurately complete many functions of the job

Installation of stakes as required for layout purposes

Measures distances from reference points to locate boundaries of construction site

Ability to work in and implement safe work practices and contribute to a safe work environment
