Duties

• Operating and maintaining equipment used in research and field activities.
• Assisting with the planning, field set‑up, and seeding of various trials.
• Handling and applying chemicals throughout the season to control weeds, diseases, and insects.
• Harvesting trials in the fall using a combine.
• Supporting research assistants by taking field notes, assessing pest issues, and helping plan field activities.
• Assisting with sample collection, as well as organizing the shipping and receiving of samples.
