The Research Project Manager 1 leads and co-ordinates all aspects of the current projects undertaken by the BC Myeloma and Plasma Cell Dyscrasia Program (BCMPP). This multidisciplinary group conducts clinical outcomes, interventional, and translational research focused on multiple myeloma and related plasma cell disorders. The scope is provincial in nature coordinate efforts amongst BC Cancer sites and affiliates with disease specific expertise. The role ensures the deliverables are completed on time and on budget, as identified in the project plans. The Research Project Manager 1 identifies and tracks metrics as they relate to the project deliverables. The role provides consultation, guidance and support to designated research project staff, contractors and stakeholders.
