Research Platform Cloud Designer - Information Technologies (Winnipeg)

Job Overview

Information Technologies invites applications for a full‑time fixed‑term research platform cloud design role (≈12 months, extendable). The role reports to the Senior Specialist, Research Platform Design within Research Computing Services (RCS), works 35 hours per week (7 hours/day, Monday–Friday), and is part of the AUPE Collective Bargaining Unit.

Candidates will support IaaS solution selection and design a research platform meeting business and security requirements, working closely with researchers and cross‑functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Requirements gathering – Gather and document research platform requirements with IT teams and researchers; identify potential problems or resource needs to meet the requirements.
