Position Overview
Title: Research Associate
Department: Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), Faculty of Applied Science, University of British Columbia.
Location: Vancouver campus (Point Grey).
Start date: June 26, 2026.
Salary: $105,000 per annum.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research in microelectronics, optical and wireless communication.
- Model electronics and photonics components.
- Design and simulate integrated circuits.
- Perform measurements in the lab.
- Mentor students in modeling, simulation, tapeouts and measurement ensuring reliable results after chip fabrication.
- Prepare documentation and publications in top-tier venues.
- Help with grant funding proposals and reports.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
- At least three years of postdoctoral training in a relevant discipline.
