Relief Housekeeping Assistant

Location: Parkmanor Oaks Care Home, 6 Thornhill Road, Dunmurry.

Job Description: Support the housekeeping team to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and sanitising.
• Ensure all rooms, common areas, bathrooms, and kitchens are cleaned to a high standard.
• Clean and disinfect high‑touch areas such as door handles, handrails, and light switches.
• Replenish supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and towels in designated areas.
• Follow infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment.
• Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely, following instructions and COSHH regulations.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth running of the housekeeping department.
