Job Description
Elevate patient care as a Certified Orthotist at Kelowna General Hospital. This temporary role offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and a chance to enhance clients' quality of life.
The relief position runs until November 2027 or the return of the current staff member. Working Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:00, you will design, fit, and adjust orthoses for various client needs. Key responsibilities include receiving referrals, conducting assessments, and collaborating with healthcare teams to provide effective orthotic solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Receive referrals and perform detailed orthotic assessments
• Assess client needs and design suitable orthotic devices
• Fit and adjust various orthoses, including AFOs and spinal braces
• Evaluate existing orthotic devices and recommend necessary changes
• Communicate with clients and healthcare professionals effectively
