Rehabilitation Medicine Consultant

The Island Health Division of Rehabilitation Medicine has an opening for a Rehabilitation Consultant to join 8 others in providing a consultative service at Victoria General Hospital. This may also include coverage at Royal Jubilee Hospital and surrounding areas. Candidates with expertise and interest in the rehabilitation of individuals with neurological diseases, post-traumatic impairments and amputations rehabilitation in hospital based practice and out patients settings are encouraged to apply.

This is a general program providing the full scope of rehabilitation services.

Full range of medical, surgical, and psychiatric specialists on-site as well as diagnostic services including x-rays, nuclear medicine, sonography, CT, and MRI. Access to epidural and facet injection services. The Physiatrist(s) provide a consulting and directive care service without night call.
