Job Description
Regular Full Time French Immersion Educational Assistant
Based out of École Westlock Elementary School. This position will begin August 27, 2026 and will end June 29, 2027.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate must be a self‑directed team player who is interested in working with students with complex needs in a French Immersion classroom. Hours of work will be Monday to Friday at 6.5 hours per day, 32.5 hours per week, following the school calendar.
Qualifications
- Experience working with complex needs and behaviourally challenged students would be an asset
- Preference will be given to applicants with an understanding of childhood development
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with students and adults
- Able to work as a member of the school team
- Enthusiastic and motivated to help students succeed
- SIVA Training would be an asset
