We are launching our first-ever Cardiology service at VCA Canada Vancouver Animal Emergency and Referral Centre and are looking for a dedicated Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT) to help launch this exciting and much-needed new referral service.
The Registered Veterinary Technologists in our hospital have an interesting and varied workload, managing a wide variety of cases, offering a stimulating and challenging experience. This means that besides using all of your basic technical skills, you will apply skills not commonly used in general practice. This includes: in-house blood‑typing and cross‑matching, administering blood transfusions, maintaining a variety of CRIs via different modalities and specialized training with our advanced imaging equipment (MRI, CT, and fluoroscopy).
