DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Use the nursing process in providing patient care.
• Participate as a member of the Health Care Team and the Nursing Team.
• Maintain competence and professionalism relevant to current practice.
• Maintain nursing records.
• Function as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
• Train patients, family members, community agency staff and others.
• Perform home hemodialysis in the home environment; manage all aspects of care for the dialysis patient; provide patient and family with advice, counselling and teaching related to the condition.
