Do you have a passion for nursing? We have the position for you! We are seeking a motivated Licensed Practical Nurse with a dedication for delivering compassionate patient care to join our team at the Lakes District Hospital.
In accordance with established vision and values of the Northern Health Authority, the Community Care Nurse practices in accordance with the standards of professional practice and code of ethics as outlined by the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) as well as within a patient and family centered care model.
Assesses, plans, organizes, implements, provides, and evaluates nursing and other services for clients in the community setting by assessing client needs, establishing patient care plans, delivering treatment and providing support and health education as required. Liaises with the client, caregiver, physician, health care providers and other agencies in order to arrange long-term care, nursing care, home support, ...
