Registered Nurse (N2) - NICU

Position Overview

Under the general supervision of the Manager Health Services, the Clinical Practice Nurse – Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional registered nursing services for neonatal patients, including those with complex and unpredictable health needs. The RN delivers independent nursing care, administers prescribed medical treatments, leads within the health care team, and coordinates patient care and discharge.

Experience

• Recent NICU experience preferred; Acute Care experience required (up to 2 years of experience may be preferred/required).

Education

• Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program required.

Certification / Licensure / Registration

• Current CRNM registration required.
• Active participation in professional associations (e.g., Association of Regulated Nurses of Manitoba) preferred.
