DEPARTMENT: MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES – SPECIALIZED GERIATRIC SERVICES (BSO)
POSITION LOCATION: OWEN SOUND
UNION AFFILIATION: ONA
STATUS: PART-TIME, TEMPORARY (APPROX. END DATE MARCH 2028)
REASON TO POST: DIRECT REPLACEMENT
WAGE RATE: $41.15 - $58.98
Reporting to the Manager, Mental Health Services, the Registered Nurse provides outreach services to older adults with behaviours associated with complex and challenging mental health, addictions, dementia or other neurological conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Current Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario or eligibility
- Certification in PIECES, GPA, Montessori Training
- Psycho/social and mental status assessment skills and knowledge of psychotropic medication side effects
