Responsibilities
- Implement AgeCare policies and procedures on the neighbourhood
- Notify physicians of significant changes in residents' conditions
- Coordinate nursing services with health care teams
- Supervise Registered Practical Nurses and Personal Support Workers
- Lead shift reports to keep the team informed of residents’ statuses
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required
- Proven experience in geriatric or long-term care nursing
- Valuable standing with provincial registry
- Knowledge of relevant health acts and regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
