Refrigeration Operator (Class B / 3rd Class) – Ammonia Systems**3rd and 4th level apprentices welcome to apply!**

💲 $42/hr + $1.25/hr afternoon premium + OT + Full Benefits + Pension
Shift (Consistent Schedule – Built-In Days Off):

Mon–Wed: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM

Sat–Sun: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Thurs & Fri OFF

This is a real operator role — not just monitoring screens. If you have hands-on experience with ammonia systems and can troubleshoot issues on the floor, this is a strong opportunity in a stable food manufacturing environment. What You’ll Be Doing

Operate and monitor ammonia (NH₃) and Freon refrigeration systems (TSSA compliant)

Troubleshoot compressors, motors, condensers, valves, and controls

Perform daily system checks, logs, and preventative maintenance

Handle temperature calls, manual defrosts, and system adjustments

Support general plant maintenance and utilities as neede...
