Job Description
The Anglican Parish of Christ Church, Calgary (Elbow Park) is seeking a faithful, mission-minded Rector to lead a welcoming, well-resourced, and growing parish. Located in a residential neighbourhood and drawing parishioners from far and wide, Christ Church is a destination parish with approximately 260 households on the parish list, and an average Sunday attendance of about 225. We are experiencing a season of generational rejuvenation, with many young families joining and engaging in parish life.
The Rector provides overall leadership for the worship and spiritual life of the parish, leading services in keeping with the Anglican tradition and offering pastoral guidance that fosters prayerful, mature Christian discipleship. The Rector serves as the spiritual and pastoral leader of Christ Church and works closely with the Wardens, Parish Council, staff, and ministry leaders to advance our mission.
